Annual Signature Events
Don’t miss these high-visibility opportunities to connect and celebrate throughout the year.
The Annual Bowling Tournament, held in February, is a great time to relax, throw some strikes, and build your network. Hosted at HeyDay Entertainment, bowlers can enjoy a family friendly atmosphere downstairs and a more adult friendly atmosphere upstairs. Limited to 24 4-person teams, call today to reserve your spot.
The Moore Chamber’s Annual Golf Tournament, held in May, is our annual membership golf tournament hosted at one of our member golf clubs, Belmar Golf Club. It’s a day on the greens to network, have fun, and enjoy the company of other chamber members. There is something for all on the course or during the awards luncheon to participate in.
The Chamber’s biggest event and social gathering is none other than the Moore Chamber’s Annual Event and Auction in September. With nearly 500 attendees, the Annual Event is one the best events around. From a Toby Keith signed guitar to jewelry to adventures and getaways there is sure to be something for everyone.
General Membership Luncheons
The General Membership Luncheons provide informative presentations and expert speakers on topics of significance and trends in the business community.
The first two luncheons of the year are general topics which have included presentations from Gary England and David Payne, both Chief Meteorologists with KWTV, Representatives from the Oklahoma City Thunder, Kari Watkins with the Oklahoma City Memorial and many more exciting speakers. Each year there is something new and exciting presented at these events.
Military Appreciation Luncheon
This luncheon celebrates outstanding active duty and retired military personnel. Join us to honor our men and women in uniform at this luncheon.
National Military Appreciation Month (NMAM) is celebrated every May and is a declaration that encourages U.S. citizens to observe the month in a symbol of unity. NMAM honors the current and former members of the U.S. Armed Forces, including those who have died in the pursuit of freedom. The month of May is characterized by six national observances which highlight the contributions of those who have served.
State of the City
Each fall the Chamber hosts a luncheon which gives the current leadership of the City of Moore the opportunity to highlight the City’s accomplishments and goals for the upcoming year. The event offers the opportunity to stay informed and learn about relevant issues in Moore, as well as having lunch with Moore’s elected officials and others in the business community.
State of the Schools
Presenters include (not specifically in this order): Moore Public Schools, Randall University, Moore Norman Technology Center, Mid America Christian University, Oklahoma City Community College
A panel of Oklahoma Legislators from both House and Senate, representing the Moore Public School area, will discuss issues that affect local businesses from the past legislative session.
This annual event offers the perfect opportunity for Chamber members to meet area legislators and have a voice on the issues impacting the business community.
